The Space

Experience the warmth of a bygone era with this charming 3-bedroom cottage. Granny's Cottage offers the comfort of modern updates while preserving its country character. With a king bed in the master suite and queens in each guest bedroom, it can comfortably accommodate up to six people. The master bedroom offers an ensuite bath with a deep soaking tub. The guest bathroom offers a shower/tub combo.

The kitchen boasts all the essentials you need to prepare delicious meals. Share laughter and stories over a home-cooked meal in the heart of the cottage. Then, curl up on the couch and enjoy a movie night on the big screen in the spacious living room. Savor delicious BBQ meals then cozy up by the propane fire pit for a truly memorable outdoor experience.

Neighborhood

There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops.

Getting Around

This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Just minutes away from downtown Kanab, this home makes accessing local restaurants, shops, and grocery stores easy!Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.
